Intro to Music (Piano 101)

Piano 101 is an introductory piano program conducted in-person, online, or a mixture of in-person and online (space is limited). Our students learn how to play piano through classical and jazz musical styles. Each lesson is student driven and instructor lead. By purchasing and progressing through this learning experience, students will gain the necessary skills of (1) playing piano effectively, (2) reading and understanding music and musical notation, (3) building repertoire and musicianship, and (4) developing self-confidence through learning competence at the piano. When our students create an online account with our website, they get access to the Piano 101 online group where they can ask questions, get feedback, and interact with other students in a helpful and educational environment. Other benefits of becoming a Mer Music Studio student include discounts on select merchandize, tickets, and other perks. Students must demonstrate consistent willingness and dedication to learn in order to start and continue in this program.
